PeriphCheck is a suite of free hardware tests that run entirely in your browser. Every peripheral that can fail quietly — a keyboard that double-types, a controller stick that drifts a few percent, a mouse whose left button bounces, a monitor hiding a stuck pixel — can be checked here in under a minute, with no download and no account. Each test reads your device through the browser's native APIs and shows you exactly what your computer is receiving, so you can tell the difference between a hardware fault, a software setting, and your imagination.

When a quick test saves real money

• Before buying or selling used gear: run the gamepad tester or keyboard tester on the spot — drift, chatter and dead keys show up in seconds, before money changes hands.

Private by architecture, not by promise

Nothing you type, say or show leaves your machine. The tests use the same browser APIs a web game would — Gamepad, Web Audio, MediaDevices — and process everything locally. There is no upload endpoint, which is why the tools also keep working offline once the page is loaded.
