How it works

Pick a duration, then click anywhere in the arena — your first click starts the timer. Every raw pointer-down event is counted (nothing is filtered or dropped), the live CPS updates as you go, and when time runs out you get your final clicks-per-second score plus an animal-tier rank from 🐢 Turtle to 🐆 Cheetah. The share button generates a score card image right in your browser and hands it to your device's share sheet.

For fair comparisons, use the 5 or 10 second runs — those are the durations most leaderboards quote. Regular clicking lands most people at 5–7 CPS; jitter clicking reaches 10–14, and butterfly clicking (alternating two fingers) can pass 15. Longer runs of 60–100 seconds measure endurance rather than burst speed and are dramatically harder to keep above 8 CPS. Curious where you stand? See our click speed benchmarks, and if your mouse seems to miss clicks, verify it on the mouse tester first.

Troubleshooting

My clicks feel faster than the counter

Every browser click event is counted — none are dropped. If the count seems low, your mouse may have switch bounce filtering or debounce delay; test it on the mouse tester.

Does jitter or butterfly clicking register?

Yes — the arena counts raw pointer-down events, so any technique that produces real clicks counts. Drag-clicking depends heavily on the mouse and may register inconsistently.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good CPS?

Most people click 5–7 CPS with normal clicking. 8–10 is fast; jitter clicking reaches 10–14; and butterfly clicking can exceed 15 CPS.

Which duration should I pick?

5 or 10 seconds is the standard for comparing scores. 1 second favors burst speed; 60–100 seconds test endurance.

Can I share my score?

Yes — the end screen generates a result image you can download or share directly via your device’s share sheet.

Does the click test work on mobile?

Yes — taps count as clicks, so you can test your tapping speed on any phone or tablet.
